The technology of Biolux's generator is "Indirect Electrolytic hydrogen & ozone generator”. The generated hydrogen and ozone are mixed with purified water without changing the pH. Electrolytic water ionizer in Japan was approved by Japan MHLW as medical instrument, mainly focus on "mineral suppliment" and to balance gastric acid for people with Gastrointestinal problems. However, it is over-marketed as alkaline water to neutralize pH of human body. In fact, the gastric acid in stomach is too acidic to be neutralized by alkaline water, not to mention alkaline water to neutralize pH of human body (Even if alkaline water do, it will cause huge digestic problem).
