Since 1996, BES Group and the University of Birmingham jointly developed a membrane electrode ozone generator, iEOG. It used the inverse principle of fuel cell to generate ozone in high purity water, which was a breakthrough in ozone generation industry. iEOG generates ozone in the water, no contact with nitrogen, so no harmful NOx generated doubts. Moreover, the iEOG generated ozone form a high concentration of ozone in water, 10 to 30 times higher than conventional ozone water generation method, which greatly enhance the ease of use. Therefore, iEOG technology was a breakthrough in ozone generation industry.  iEOG is a very fine product, using not only nano platinum film which jointly developed with DuPont for electrolysis, but also need to act with high-quality pre-stabilized water, and need to be produced in clean rooms. After successful mass production in 1988, BES Group has become the world leader in generating hydrogen, oxygen and ozone using membrane electrolysis technology. With this technology, iEOG has obtained more than 40 patents globally.
